We arrived safe and sound and we’re loving life in Belize!

Sunday Jan 5th, 2020 After a long trip, we finally arrived in PG around 10:30 pm last night. Today the weather was perfect! After attending Mass in San Lucas, we checked out the water purification system and visited with old friends before driving to Otoxha to make sure the materials had been delivered for this week’s construction project. Afterwards, one van left to explore the ruins at Labantuum, while the other stopped to visit more folks on our way back “home”. This photo shows The Salam family standing in front of their new home. After enjoying a delicious dinner prepared by Regina and Desiree, we prepared for tomorrow. Sister Rose, as the holiest member of the group, was nominated to bless the mission solidarity rings, made from Cohune palm seeds, for our new volunteers. After weeks of preparation, we can hardly wait to begin our volunteer work tomorrow,
