Education

Barefoot Children Ministries provides school supplies, hygiene items, and flip flops for approximately 800 elementary school students every year. We have acquired several full textbook series from schools throughout Missouri, which we have shipped to the education office in Punta Gorda, Belize. The Education Materials Fund also supplies materials needed for our teaching volunteers to provide hands-on art, health, language arts, math, music, P.E., religion, science, and STEM activities. Because volunteers are encouraged to share their hidden talents in Belize, women have learned new recipes using local ingredients and children enjoy communicating with American Sign Language.
