Tuesday
We had a great day in Dolores! Lauryn and Joanne played a bunch of fun games (Pictionary, bingo and memory cards) all related to animals. The students did a great job and really loved Pictionary. Abbie, Allie and Becki handed out slippers (flip flops) to all of the students. In the afternoon they presented women’s health talks and about 50 women attended. Ann did some amazing art lessons teaching one point perspective, positive/negative shape designs and shape landscapes. The students were excited and so proud to show off their work. Marcus and Anita presented lessons about the water cycle. The youngest kids made clouds covered with cotton balls and the rest of the students all did 3D projects exploring the water cycle steps. We all had lunch at the home of the principal, Mr Pablo Xi. In additional to caldo, we were served rice and tortillas. We head to Machakilha tomorrow where we’ll have no electricity, so watch for a post on Friday. Keep us in your prayers until then.
