Monday in Dolores

Monday was another busy day. The teaching team headed down the LONG AND WINDING road to Dolores. Jen and JoAnn presented health talks to the older boys, girls and women of the village. The boys and girls got personal care packages made by students at All Saints. Anita and Diane did STEM lessons with the classes. Ann did art projects, Shannon and Kymberlin presented Language Arts. The students LOVE all the hands-on projects. In SanLucas the construction team worked with all the men of the village and got several layers of concrete block laid and the base poured. All of the concrete is mixed on the ground, by hand! We were all happy to get back to the lodge for hot showers, a delicious dinner and an evening of singing along while Thomas played the guitar. A solid day!
