Thursday in Paradise

We had truly a perfect day in the most beautiful spot on earth! We were treated to a hot breakfast in a home, then walked up the hill to school. The construction crew started painting the school, health talks were given to the older kids and the women, STEM, Language Arts and Art lessons were presented. In a school of only 30 students we could get many lessons finished. We were fed lunch and dinner in two different homes and then finished off the day with a sing-along and bonfire! Thomas brought song sheets to share and we all enjoyed a medley of classic songs. Brown Eyed Girl was by far the favorite. The children sang a few of their favorites. Just about the entire village, population 107, turned out to join us. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
